Dexter Kennedy recently was awarded the Third Prize at the 2013 Westfield International Organ Competition. The competition consisted of a tape pre-selection, from which 12 competitors were selected to compete in three live rounds. The organists of the live rounds hailed from seven different countries. The competition was held in Rochester and Ithaca, NY, and was sponsored by the Westfield Center for Historical Keyboard Instruments.
